Lymphatic Drainage Therapy
I completed Level II of Lymphatic Drainage Therapy with the Chikly Institute in March. The techniques are subtle and complement working with muscle and fascia. Wonderful for any kind of swelling or stagnant tissue, pre- or post-surgery, scar tissue, and any situation where the liver may be taxed such as fasting or dietary cleansing, having medication in the system, and hormonal changes. Also good for keeping skin nourished and supple, preventing cellulite and wrinkles, and reducing breasts prone to swelling and fibrosity.

Craniosacral I Review
I'm back from Plano, where I took Craniosacral Therapy level I with the Upledger Institute. It was a nice small class, and we all got a lot of attention from the instuctor, as well as getting the chance to work on almost all the other participants over the course of the weekend. Over half the group were repeating the course, like me. I'm so glad I did this! It was invaluable to learn the same body of information from a different instructor. And the Institute's thinking about several techniques has evolved. Overall I feel affirmed in what I have been doing, but clearer. And after recieving so much work, my neck feels wonderful...spacious and free. And I have been waking up earlier, feeling alert throughout the day. Now I'm eager to find ways to integrate this work into all my sessions, even if it's just the beginning and ending. There is something so valuable that happens though paying attention to the body at this level.

Craniosacral training
I'm gearing up to take Craniosacral Therapy level I training again with the Upledger Institute. I took it two years ago and I want to review it before I take level II in August.
